Join Our Team as a Bit Technician Delivery Driver at Epiroc!
We are currently seeking a Bit Technician for the Rock Drilling Tools business line at Agnico Eagle Detour Mine Site and we are looking for a team oriented candidate to join our EPIROC group.
Work Type: Onsite
Shift Timings:
2-week on, 2-weeks off rotational schedule – shift length to be determined
160-hours minimum averaged over 4 weeks
Responsibilities:
- Reconditioning various sizes of underground and surface Bit’s
- Delivery of both new and reconditioned material to specified customers
- Providing 100% customer satisfaction
- Ensure that all shop and mine specific protocols (Safety, Maintenance & Schedules)
- Prepare documentations
- Ensure work complies with ISO standards 9002, 14001 and 18000
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and future customers
- Trained on shop duties and product reconditioning
Knowledge/Education:
- A strong technical background
- Prior shop experience would be an asset
- Basic computer skills, competence in excel & word documents
- Valid driver’s license
Skills and Abilities:
- Good communication skills
- Good organization skills
- Ambition and motivation to succeed and meet the company’s objectives
- A proven self-starter who requires minimum supervision
- Bilingualism is an asset
- Establish a working relationship with fellow employees
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment both on and off our property
- Safeguard assets of the company in general but most specifically those within our areas of responsibility

The work environment for this role involves both driving and physical delivery activities. Employees will regularly operate commercial motor vehicles and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, traffic hazards, and a variety of delivery site environments. The position requires frequent bending, lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading of heavy items—typically up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Extended periods of sitting while driving are expected, along with performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required, depending on delivery site requirements.
