Senior / Intermediate Manufacturing Engineer - Product & Technical Decision Owner

1. Technical Deviations & Non‑Conformities Management (CJX PC)

• Manage technical deviations and non‑conforming parts arising from production and suppliers.
• Independently take technical decisions on acceptance, rework, deviation, or rejection of parts, including high‑cost impact decisions (e.g. scrapping large batches).
• Ensure decisions are timely, well‑documented, and compliant with company standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and R&D to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of technical decision processes, safety instructions, and work standards (ISO, legal compliance).

2. Support to Exploration Business, Competitor Insight & Future Product Development

• Support the Exploration business through competitor analysis, reverse engineering, field visits, and customer interactions.
• Develop technical and market insight in Diamond Tools, ITH (In‑The‑Hole), and related product domains.
• Contribute to defining and validating “In China for China” products, with visibility on APAC market needs.
• Support the development of potential new product lines (premium line maintained, parallel cost‑competitive solutions).
• Share market, customer, and technical insights with cross‑functional teams to guide product strategy.

3. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Identify and drive improvement opportunities related to quality, cost, efficiency, and robustness.
• Contribute to digitalization initiatives, technical upgrades, and new engineering tools.
• Embody the “Dare to Think New” mindset by challenging existing solutions and proposing pragmatic innovations.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all engineering activities comply with company rules, legal requirements, and safety standards.
• Promote safety culture, correct PPE usage, and 5S compliance.

5. Other Tasks

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Mining or exploration background is a strong plus, but not mandatory.

Experience 工作经验

• 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience taking technical decisions with cost, quality, and delivery impact.
• Exposure to product engineering, production support, or industrial quality is expected.
