Job Description – Territory Manager

Job Description: 

The Sales professional will be based in Chennai and will handle the complete sales process starting from prospecting, application study, offering suitable product, negotiation, Sales and payment collection for complete Tamilnadu region.

  • The main products in demand in this region are Rock drilling Tools, Surface drilling equipments, Underground Tunnel equipments, Parts Division
  • Candidate will be handling both Key accounts as well as retail customers
  • However, he/she will also be responsible for establishing contacts with project authorities and consultants to pave path for future for all divisions.
  • High level of travel and interactions with customers and authorities.
  • Major segment to be handled will be Quarry, Water well and underground tunnels for road, railways and hydro projects
  • The candidate should be a team player and work in co-ordination with aftermarket team and our channel partners.
  • The candidate will also be responsible for all the activities of the channel partners in the assigned territory.

Qualification, Skills, and Experience:

 

  • Graduate in Mining/Mechanical Engineering from a reputed college and having relevant experience.
  • Professional having relevant experience of 6- 10 years in front-line sales having exposure to promote products pertaining to mining &construction.
  • The candidate should have through knowledge of mining & construction (Tunnel) application.
  • The person should be able to speak English and Tamil. 

Key competencies required for this role:

 

  • Self-driven personality Ability to establish good relationship with customers
  •  Ability to handle large key accounts/projects
  • Location: India, Chennai
