Mission of the Role:

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth, profitability and operational excellence of CR Powered by Epiroc’s GET business across Central and East Africa. You will focus on increasing revenue, managing the dealer and distributor network, and building strong relationships with key customers, regional partners, and internal teams.

 

Your Mission:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for West, Central, and East Africa, aligning with CR Powered by Epiroc’s global objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including country entry strategies.
  • Develop tailored go-to-market strategies for different regions, considering local market dynamics and competition.
  • Monitor regional performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Establish and manage dealer/distributor networks in target countries across the three regions.
  • Ensure compliance with distributor agreements and optimize their performance.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and renegotiate terms as needed to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Build partnerships with strategic players, including Epiroc CC, and foster alignment with CR Powered by Epiroc goals.
  • Drive sales pipeline management and ensure timely execution of deals.
  • Oversee new product launches and market introduction strategies in the region.
  • Develop competitive market intelligence to refine sales strategies.

 

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or mining engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Mining Operation both underground and Open pits
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing within a technical or industrial environment in the mining industry or similar.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service excellence.
  • Established networking capability within the industry.
  • Previous people management or team leadership experience.
