Operator Trainer LHD

Mission of the role:

Our mission is to equip operators with the knowledge and skills to safely inspect, operate, communicate, and maintain machinery and worksites, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and preparedness in all operational scenarios.

Your mission:

• Deliver training on safe entry procedures before accessing working areas.
• Instruct on conducting safety checks, machine pre-inspections, and completing pre-checklists.
• Provide guidance on emergency response protocols for fires and accidents.
• Teach correct setup of drilling rigs and inspection of driveways and working routes.
• Train operators in effective communication and safe machine operation across varied assignments.
• Educate on roadway maintenance, loader washing, and after-shift unit inspections.
• Ensure knowledge of safe machine shutdown procedures and transport/tramming practices.

Your Profile:

• Heavy Equipment Repair Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience on underground mining equipment such as loaders Dump Truck
• Fault finding skills
• Knowledge on loaders, Mine Trucks such as ST 710,1020, MT 436,2000 and 2010
• Good maintenance knowledge
• Attention to detail and show a strong sense of urgency.
