Business Line Manager Tools and Attachments

We welcome you to join our Customer Center in Chile. In this role, you will closely collaborate with the other members of the management team and play an active role in setting the strategic directions for a profitable growth of the Tools & Attachments Division.

Lead by inspiration

Profitable and sustainable growth of the Division at Customer Center level. The Business Line Manager (BLM) is responsible for the Profit & Lost and Balance Sheet of the Division at Customer Center level. You add value to the company by adapting and implementing the Divisional strategy on Customer Center level to achieve the profitable business, with sustainable growth and continuous innovation in the development of people, business, and products of the Tools and Attachment Division. As a member of our team, you will rock this:

• Organize, direct, supervise, and coordinate the commercial activities of the Tools and Attachment business area.
• Achieve a greater participation in the Southern Cone market for the products of the Tools and Attachment business area.
• Determine the sale prices and direct the sales process under his responsibility, ensuring the development and promotion of a vision and leadership strategy for the products of the Tools and Attachments business area, which are marketed in different markets.
• Lead a multi-disciplined team of professionals responsible for the delivery of drilling consumables for Epiroc.
• Establish the appropriate conditions so that the personnel under his charge can carry out their work efficiently and drive the team in charge to reach, exploit, and exceed their potential.
• Develop a plan to build and maintain required competencies in all areas of Tools and Attachment to achieve the proposed goals professionally.
• Organize the Tools and Attachment resources to ensure profitability and a favorable return on investment within the structure established for Tools and Attachment in conjunction with the objectives of the different Divisions and the Group's objectives, achieving the optimization of available resources and all other functions inherent to the position.

Personal Characteristic

We are looking for an energetic, visionary manager with a solid understanding of deep hole markets, customers’ demands, products, processes, result oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines and able to work under pressure, while keeping customer satisfaction focus at all times and who can demonstrate a successful track record of leadership in her/his previous roles. We require a proactive, structured Epiroc cultured person who listens and works with others to achieve the desired results by applying your knowledge of business, products, and applications in order to provide the most optimal solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mining, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as Sales Area Manager and 5 years in engineering, administration, marketing, negotiations, sales management, or market development.
• Technical knowledge in construction and mining equipment.
• Fluency in the English and Spanish language (spoken and written).
• Managerial capacity (leadership, timely and effective decision-making, capacity of negotiation).
• Management of Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes programs and tools.
• Orientation to achieve results.
• Abilities to interact positively with all kinds of people.
• Availability for national and foreign trips.
• Health compatible with the office.
