Join Our Team as a National Account Manager at Epiroc!

The National Account Manager, Rental is responsible for managing and growing Epiroc’s Attachments Division business, specifically within the Hydraulic Attachment Tools (IAB and HAT) product lines. This includes developing account strategies, driving sales of hydraulic breakers, compactors, cutters, and related tools, negotiating commercial agreements, and ensuring alignment between customer needs and Epiroc’s product and service offerings.

 

This is a remote, field-based position that requires frequent travel to customer locations across the U.S. The role works cross-functionally with internal teams such as product management, marketing, and regional sales to support execution of national programs and ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities:

Account Management & Business Development

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for assigned national rental accounts.
  • Identify growth opportunities and expand Epiroc’s footprint within key accounts.
  • Build customized solutions in collaboration with rental partners.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Meet or exceed sales targets by promoting Epiroc’s hydraulic attachment tools (IAB/HAT product lines).
  • Develop pricing strategies, volume agreements, and promotions to support revenue growth.
  • Negotiate long-term agreements aligned with company goals.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned national rental accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, product, operations) to deliver on customer expectations.
  • Share customer feedback to support continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to ensure local alignment with national programs.

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
  • Provide insights to leadership and recommend actions to stay competitive.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and CRM activity.
  • Provide regular updates on account status, wins, and risks.

 

Knowledge/Education:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the equipment rental industry, preferably in sales of hydraulic attachment tools or heavy equipment.
  • Proven success managing national or strategic accounts in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of rental industry dynamics and customer buying behavior.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, primarily within the US, for events, tradeshows, or customer visits. Candidates should be located near a major airport.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $130,000 and $148,000 annually plus bonus, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards.
