Job Title - Service Engineer

Job Overview

Responsible for the complete service activities of Epiroc CC in the assigned territory and supports the installed fleet to the satisfaction of customers, while ensuring Epiroc guidelines are strictly followed. Also to ensure the given business targets of organisation are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Equipment commissioning and warranty support: Direct or via Business Partners for Mining / Tunnel machineries.
  • Timely reporting of warranty complaints and product quality related issues.
  • Installed fleet mapping and ensure 1:1 fleet relation. MOL updating for the responsible fleets management at respective job sites.
  • Support Business Partners in the region for achieving business targets.
  • Special focus on Key customers’ satisfaction assigned particularly to him.
  • Support Business Partner with suggested stocking guides as per Machine utilisation.
  • Support in execution of Service Agreements. Team Management at site with Epiroc’s External Role staff, Data Management for AMC/CAP contracts, B/D Management with optimum utilisation of resources, Forecasting of Parts requirement for better stocking and supporting Fleets at site.
  • Forward customer feedback and any leads on new equipment.
  • Support in promotion of Equipment / component rebuilds.
  • Coordinate with Customer Support Officer on support issues like parts quotation, invoicing, deliveries or outstanding payments. Follow up on receivables and recovery for customers service outstanding.
  • Track Equipment utilization and ensure committed KPI’s as per Customer PO are achieved.
  • Guide Business Partner engineers to solve technical problems. Keep them updated with relevant technical information. Competency development of Partners Engineer by Training and motivating them.
  • Monitor complaint registers of Business Partners and ensure timely restoration of equipment is executed.
  • PSD OR / OI, Revenue Generation.
  • Promotion of PSD Value added Products / Safety Campaign / IMS & PSD Products upgrade sales.
  • Support to Other sites and coordination with Team members.

Other Responsibilities

  • Strictly following Safety guidelines.
  • Identification of Environmental aspects and OH&S hazards and related operational controls.
  • Ensure operation controls related to Health, Safety & Environment.
  • Reporting of SHE incidences and its analysis.

Requirements  

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics.
  • 01-05 Years relevant Job Experience.
  • Technical Level 1 Certified.
  • Electrical + Mechanical + Basic Electronics knowledge is must, with Computer software skills of Word/Excel and PPT.
