Join Our Team as a Welder Line Bore Technician at Epiroc!

Work Type: Onsite

Shift Timings (If applicable): 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical/mechanical support in the form of troubleshooting and repairing either by phone or on site
• Provide warranty support; evaluating and validating claims, discussing issues with Product Company, and submitting service reports to support claims
• Regularly review and update personal tool inventory on a quarterly basis to maintain compliance with the company's calibration and tool replacement protocols, and always maintain an accurate personal tool inventory
• Complete daily work assignments as requested from the customer or supervisor
• Understand and adhere to Company safety and environmental requirements, including promoting and practicing proper safety procedures and correct use of PPE, safety is our first priority. Work sustainably, being conscious of the environmental impact
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job on the various equipment types supporting all business line areas

Knowledge/Education:

• High school degree required; technical or trade school certificate preferred.
• Two to five years of relevant experience preferred, including line bore procedures/equipment and welding.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven work ethic.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Epiroc equipment preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment by phone or on site.
• Ability to support warranty evaluations, service reports, and claim validation.
• Proficient math skills, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to analyze technical procedures or governmental regulation documents and write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required.
• Ability to maintain or complete required U.S. Department of Labor / Mine Safety & Health Administration training certificates.
• Travel required and may sometimes be international.

Skills and Abilities:

• Line bore procedures and line bore equipment experience.
• Welding experience related to mechanical equipment support.
• Troubleshooting and repair of mining or heavy equipment.
• Warranty support, claim evaluation, service reporting, and product-company issue discussion.
• Tool inventory maintenance, calibration compliance, and tool replacement protocol awareness.
• MSHA training or ability to complete required training by manager-required dates.
• TL1, TL2, and Safe Start Modules 1-5 to be completed within first year of employment.

The salary for this position is between $40 and $50 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards.
