About The Role

As a Product Line Manager for Epiroc’s Mining and Infrastructure Attachments division, a global leader in hydraulic tools and battery-powered attachments, you will lead the HAT product portfolio ensuring operational excellence, customer-centric innovation, and sustainable profitability. Serving industries like mining, construction, and recycling, our division has production hubs on six continents—including Sweden, Germany, the USA, and Australia—underscoring our commitment to global impact and product excellence.

 

In this role, you will have product ownership and accountability for the product portfolios P&L, by closely collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams. Your mission will be to build a high-performing, cross-functional team dedicated to advancing technology and product ownership, while aligning with organizational strategy and market demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall P&L & product ownership of the Product Line
  • Build a resilient & high-performing cross-functional team to live technology & product ownership
  • Bring operational excellence and customer centricity to the portfolio
  • Improve profitability, lead times and quality of products
  • Short/mid/long-term product roadmap & strategy (competitive landscape).
  • Enable the sales organization to gain market share
  • Business Intelligence (strategies & concepts)
  • M&A Proposals Competitor & Market Analysis
  • Production company support
  • Ensure compliance of R&D activities with all relevant regulations and standards

 

Competencies Required

  • Leadership: Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of P&L management and financial analysis. Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capability to execute short, mid and long-term product strategies. Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscapes.
  • Customer Focus: Strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs. Ability to incorporate customer feedback into product development.
  • Operational Excellence: Expertise in driving process improvements and operational efficiencies. Knowledge of quality management and lead time reduction.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of the technology and products within the portfolio. Ability to stay updated with industry advancements and innovations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders. Proficiency in English is required.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with different teams. Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Business Intelligence: Proficiency in using data and analytics to drive business decisions. Ability to develop and implement business intelligence strategies
