Global Purchasing Team Support (Summer worker)
We are searching for the candidate who wants to gain experience within this summer (1st of June – 31st of August). This role is well suited for a student or recent graduate looking for hands-on experience within a global purchasing environment.
Your Mission
As a Summer Worker within the Global Purchasing Team, you will support sourcing and procurement activities with a strong focus on analytics and contract insights.
Your role will include working with sourcing analytics, supporting contract management by establishing baselines, mapping risks, and contributing to the creation of roadmaps together with the Head of Sourcing.
You will provide analytical support to Global Category Managers, particularly in areas related to cost focus and risk management.
Additionally, you may support the local procurement team in Fagersta when needed, acting as a flexible analytical resource within the organization.
Your Profile
You are analytical, structured, and interested in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
You are comfortable working with data and analytics and can support contract analysis, risk reviews, and baseline creation
You enjoy collaborating with both local and global stakeholders and are proactive in supporting teams with insights and structured analysis.
Interest or basic understanding of sourcing, contract management, risk management, or procurement processes is considered an advantage.
Location
This role is based in Fagersta, Sweden.
