Work Type: Onsite
Shift Timings: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying cost-saving opportunities, enhancing procurement processes, alternative sourcing and contributing to procurement strategy development.
- Support supplier development, sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and performance management while monitoring key procurement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and vendor relationships.
- Contract and Pricing Negotiations
- Support initiatives to consolidate suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Support annual cost reduction initiatives.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Production, Logistics, Quality, Engineering and R&D
- Participate in value engineering and cost-reduction projects.
- Manage Engineering Change Notice (ECN) Changes internally and with supply base
- Stakeholder alignment
- Prioritize requirements/responsibilities and communicate to applicable organizations or suppliers
- Order Management (Issue/Confirm/Expedite)
- Inventory Management
- Critical thinking/problem solving
- Other duties/projects as assigned
Knowledge/Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business/supply chain management
- Equivalent years of relative work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement
- Minimum of 2 years' overall experience
- Experience in operations and sourcing
- Experience using MRP system (SAP/M3 preferred)
- Analytical and systems capabilities
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Manufacturing experience
- Contract and Pricing Supplier Negotiation
- Supplier Development
