Join Epiroc in a pivotal leadership role as an Operations Manager - Khoemacau Mine where you will have the opportunity to establish, lead and shape our operations at Khoemacau Mine. As Operations Manager, you will play a key role in building a high-performing site operation from the ground up while delivering exceptional aftermarket support to our strategic customers, MMG contractors, Huaye and 23MCC.

Your Mission:

As the operational leader on site, you will:

• Establish and lead site operations, including the development of workshops, warehousing, offices, IT and communications infrastructure, and other critical facilities.
• Build, lead and develop a high-performing, customer-focused site team, including recruitment, talent development and performance management.
• Drive operational readiness and excellence, ensuring equipment, people, facilities and resources are fully prepared to meet customer requirements.
• Oversee the commissioning of new equipment and coordinate machine deliveries with Project Management to ensure seamless implementation.
• Ensure reliable spares, parts and drilling consumables availability to support equipment uptime and customer productivity.
• Establish and champion a strong safety culture, aligned with Epiroc's Global Sustainability Policy and standards.
• Build and strengthen strategic customer partnerships, ensuring exceptional customer experience, service delivery and long-term value.
• Identify customer needs and collaborate with Sales and other stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions, including technology and aftermarket solutions.
• Develop and manage profitable service agreements and technical support solutions aligned to customer needs and business objectives.
• Ensure delivery against agreed SLAs and performance commitments, continuously improving customer satisfaction and operational performance.
• Lead the effective management of working capital, with a strong focus on inventory optimisation and receivables, including ageing stock and overdue accounts.
• Facilitate customer training for operators and technicians, supporting safe and efficient equipment utilisation.

Your Profile:

We are looking for an accomplished leader who combines technical expertise, commercial acumen and strong customer leadership.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in project and operational management, preferably within the mining industry.
• Strong experience working with OEM mining equipment.
• Proven leadership experience in a site-based mining environment.
• Strong commercial, sales or customer-facing experience within mining solutions or aftermarket services.
• Sound understanding of mining operations, equipment and customer requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
• A strategic, hands-on and results-driven leadership approach, with the ability to build teams, influence stakeholders and deliver through others.
