Shift Timings: 8AM – 5PM

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk mitigation activities.
  • Lead RFQs, negotiations, contracting, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and logistics teams to support sourcing decisions.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier capacity, and industry developments.
  • Support new product introductions and supplier onboarding activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, sustainability requirements, and supplier standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and deliver measurable savings.

 

Knowledge/Education:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience or bachelor’s degree mechanical engineering.
  • Intermediate Excel experience.
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and managing suppliers of heavy weldments, fabricated assemblies and precision machined components with strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality requirements and supply chain risks.
  • Strong negotiation, contracting, and supplier management skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and sourcing tools.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects in a global environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
