HEAD OF BA BUSINESS ARCHITECTURE
Are you a bold, decisive transformation leader with the courage to challenge legacy structures and fundamentally rewire how performance is owned? Are you driven by clarity, accountability, and results? Are you motivated by creating leaner, faster, and more competitive operating models?
We are now seeking a senior and highly impactful Head of BA Business Architecture to lead one of the most critical structural transformation initiatives within Epiroc’s Business Area Equipment & Service (E&S).
About the role
As Head of BA Business Architecture, you will be responsible for shaping how cost, pricing, performance, and results are managed across E&S. In this role, you will focus on strengthening clarity and coherence in ownership models, reducing fragmentation and internal complexity, and enabling empowered, end‑to‑end accountability with a clear P&L ownership.
This is a hands-on, outcome driven transformation role in which you will simplify the operating model, sharpen accountability, and improve operating leverage and revenue productivity.
You will work closely with senior leaders across finance, HR, and the line organization, operating with strong sponsorship at Business Area level. Success in the role requires political courage, resilience, and an uncompromising focus on performance over legacy arrangements.
The position is hosted within the Business Area Equipment & Service, with a flexible location, and reports to the Business Area President Jess Kindler.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish clear end‑to‑end ownership for all major cost centers, products, and P&L areas across E&S.
- Consolidate fragmented cost pools under single accountable owners and reduce internal recharges, allocations, and cross‑charging where possible.
- Increase cost transparency to enable faster, higher‑quality decision‑making and stronger performance follow‑up.
- Streamline the operating model to reduce administration, shorten decision paths, and increase speed of execution.
- Simplify budgeting, forecasting, and performance follow‑up processes.
- Sharpen pay‑for‑performance differentiation by strengthening the link between results, incentives, and rewards.
- Actively role‑model and promote a culture of accountability, clarity, and performance excellence.
Experience and requirements
- 15+ years of experience in senior P&L leadership, business transformation, or operating model redesign.
- Proven track record of simplifying complex organizations and reducing inefficiencies.
- Deep understanding of cost structures, internal allocations, and performance management systems.
- Experience working closely with finance, HR, and senior leadership on governance and incentive design.
- High credibility with executives and line leaders in complex, global environments.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
