Join Our Team as the Head of Strategic Marketing DTS at Epiroc!

Lead the Strategic Marketing function for the DTS Business Line, with accountability for driving profitable organic growth, strengthening market and customer share, optimizing the product portfolio, and ensuring strong financial resilience through effective portfolio management and cross-functional leadership.

 

Work Type: Hybrid, with 30-40% travel

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own and develop the DTS product line strategy that includes Rotary, DTH and Raiseboring; ensuring alignment with divisional growth, profitability, and market leadership ambitions. Where possible, create product alignment between the other Business lines within the division.
  • Work closely with Epiroc capital equipment teams to offer best-in-class tools and machines that deliver clear value to customers.
  • Lead, develop, and empower the Product Marketing team, ensuring clear priorities, strong collaboration, and effective execution across the DTS product portfolio.
  • Drive year-on-year organic growth exceeding general market growth through competitive product offerings, customer-centric solutions, innovation, and global expansion.
  • Optimize the product portfolio through continuous portfolio review, tail reduction, make-versus-buy analysis, and clear differentiation to avoid commoditization. Ensure alignment with the Epiroc Sustainability targets.
  • Meet net working capital targets with a strong focus on inventory efficiency, portfolio relevance, and capital discipline.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Product Support and Product Development to capture growth opportunities and strengthen execution on the portfolio.
  • Together with Communications, develop a strategic marketing plan for all products and key strategic objectives.

 

Knowledge/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Mining Industry background preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, product management, portfolio management, or a related role, with preferably 5 years in a multidisciplinary leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing product portfolios and optimizing product mix.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using portfolio management tools and software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
