Join Our Team as a Human Resources Business Partner at Epiroc!
This position serves as a strategic partner to our business leaders to implement and execute initiatives that drive business results at our Garland Production Center, Garland Services HUB, and Surface Mining Automation groups to include but not limited to providing coaching and guidance to business leaders, employee relations, workforce planning, organizational development, organizational effectiveness, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Partners with leadership team to develop, communicate, and execute various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and other government regulations.
- Investigate and recommend solutions related to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, etc.
- Drive initiatives to help foster a positive company culture, focusing on diversity and inclusion.
- Develop strategies to increase workforce readiness, retention, and engagement.
- Partners with Production Center leaders, Distribution Center leaders, and HR Manager to determine hiring needs, develop staffing strategy, and assist with executing staffing plans to meet staffing objectives.
- Implement projects centered on Communications, Organizational Capability, Strategic Management
- Execute organizational effectiveness/development initiatives by driving employee engagement initiatives, conducting talent review and succession planning activities.
- Identifying and delivering training initiatives as needed for compliance and for improving individual and team performance.
- Execute strategic and tactical work pertaining to: Quality, Compensation, Communications, Benefits, Employee Relations, Training, and Safety.
- Assignments usually involve both project work and daily human resource administration.
- Administer compensation programs to include salary recommendations, salary review and variable compensation/bonus initiatives.
- Assist with defining HR department goals and objectives, and KPIs to measure success and drive business performance.
- Conduct exit interviews
- Present New Hire Orientation, maintain content
- Partner with Total Rewards Team and managers to process payroll
- Track metrics related to corrective action and exit interviews
Knowledge/Education:
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant HR experience
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing employee relations practices
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to manage changing priorities; have tough conversations;
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization
- High energy and high sense of urgency required in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Maturity and reliability; handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, facilitation skills, team building skills, and ability to solve problems.
