Join Our Team as an End User Support Intern at Epiroc!
As an End User Support Intern, you will work alongside experienced IT professionals to support employees with their day-to-day technology needs. This internship offers hands-on experience in IT support, exposure to enterprise systems, and opportunities to develop technical and customer service skills in a professional environment.
Work Type: Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic onsite and remote IT support tasks under supervision.
- Help troubleshoot common hardware and software issues (e.g., Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook).
- Support mobile device setup and basic troubleshooting (Android & Apple).
- Participate in IT workshops and user training sessions.
- Document support activities and update internal knowledge bases.
- Shadow experienced team members to learn about server, network, and telephony systems.
- Help maintain IT asset inventory and assist with hardware/software provisioning.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and team projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the End User Support team.
Education/Skills:
- Currently pursuing or very recently completed a degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer systems and software applications.
- Strong interest in IT support and customer service.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English (oral and written); other languages are a plus.
- Work towards a related IT certification, such as Comptia A+ or Google IT Support
Learning Objectives:
- Gain practical experience in IT service delivery and support.
- Understand enterprise IT infrastructure and support workflows.
- Develop communication and problem-solving skills in a technical environment.
Additional Information:
- This internship may involve occasional travel within the region.
- Interns will be mentored by the Regional End User Support team and may participate in cross-functional IT projects.
