Low Voltage Electrical Technician
The Role
1st Shift
Trouble-shoot low voltage systems with wiring schematics, computer software, and diagnostic equipment.
Perform all duties related to schematics and Low Voltage Electrical and Electronics and other electrical
duties. Follow all standard or accepted methods and procedures within company safety guidelines.
Skills
* Trouble-shoot low voltage systems utilizing wiring schematics, computer software, and diagnostic
equipment.
* Trouble-shoot electrical to electronic interfaces
* Running conduit, pull wire, and make electrical connections in a professional manner using wiring
diagrams and/or electrical schematics
* Assembly duties as required
* Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to immediate
Supervisor
* Follow prescribed safety regulations / guidelines
* Work with Engineering and Vendors on new wiring requirements for Prototype units and systems
* Work independently on wiring and programming engines and power pack systems
* ECM programming
* Be able to work with Programmable Motion Control cards (PCM cards)
* Perform other duties as required or directed
Occasional, Infrequent
* Complete appropriate paperwork for rejected parts
* Return leftover parts back to Warehouse
* Chase parts and fill in necessary paperwork
* Train new hires
* Document and diagram wiring when needed (example: Prototype units)
