Shift Timings: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

 

Your Mission: As a Product Detailer, this role is responsible for meticulously cleaning, finishing, and preparing products, including drilling rigs, for final inspection, packing, and shipment. This includes ensuring all surfaces are free of imperfections, properly detailed, and meet company quality and safety standards. The role also oversees secure packing, accurate documentation, and coordination with logistics to support timely and correct delivery. A strong focus on precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement is essential to uphold product quality and customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Detailing and Finishing: Clean, polish, install decals and inspect all surfaces of the drilling rig to ensure they meet quality and aesthetic standards before shipment.
  • Final Inspection Support: Collaborate with quality control to identify and correct any imperfections or inconsistencies.
  • Packing and Securing Equipment: Prepare components and assemblies for shipment by selecting appropriate packing materials, securing items to prevent damage, and labeling crates or containers accurately.
  • Shipping Coordination: Generate shipping documentation as required, coordinate with logistics providers, load equipment for transportation and ensure timely dispatch of rigs and components.
  • Inventory and Materials Handling: Track outgoing shipments, manage packing materials inventory, and report discrepancies or shortages.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols when handling heavy equipment and hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline detailing and shipping processes in alignment with Lean principles.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Communicate with production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on delivery timelines and customer requirements.

 

Your profile:

  • Ability to use and comprehend specifications, work instructions, drawings, and schematics
  • Knowledge of all mechanical components on the rig and their ideal operation
  • Knowledge of packing and shipping standard along with safe securing methods for transportation.
  • Overall knowledge of product lines
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting principles
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office, ERP Systems, etc.
  • Hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing preferred
  • Required to read, write and comprehend English

To promote wellness, ergonomic equipment, and regular breaks are encouraged. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required while on the production floor or testing area. PPE includes Hard Hat or Bump Cap, Safety Glasses & Steel Toe Shoes.

While working on the production floor, the work environment includes being regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outdoor weather conditions. Work may also involve climbing using ladders and/or lifts and crawling underneath rigs. May also be required to lift up to 30 lbs. 

Moderate physical demand in handling materials and tools while installing components, wiring and related operations.
