Join Our Team as a Tear-Down Disassembler at Epiroc!
Perform all required and assigned disassembly operations on drilling rigs and equipment following standard(s) and within company safety guidelines.
Work Type: Onsite
Shift Timings: 7:30AM – 3:30PM
Responsibilities:
- Disassemble/remove mechanical and hydraulic components and systems and prepare them for the next step in the Production process
- Transportation of disassembled components and systems to the next step in the Production process
- Rigging and lifting of components using a crane
- Address quality defects as per the Production process
- Move rigs/towers from one location to another following appropriate procedures
- Loading drill rigs and corresponding components and systems in preparation for shipment
- Maintain the cleanliness of the assembly area and perform 5S activities
- Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to immediate Supervisor
- Follow prescribed safety regulations and guidelines
- Identify and report safety risks
- Maintain work related records and reports
- Perform other duties as required or directed which may include but not limited to assembly in other Production areas or product detailing.

Knowledge/Education:
- Knowledge of safe working practices in a manufacturing environment
- Able to use and comprehend specifications and processes
- Knowledge of mechanical components/systems
- Knowledge of hydraulic components/systems
- Knowledge of electrical components/systems
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting
- Basic computer skills including MS Office, ERP Systems, etc.
- Hand and power tools
- Knowledge of safe rigging and crane operation
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing preferred

The work environment for this role involves both driving and physical delivery activities. Employees will regularly operate commercial motor vehicles and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, traffic hazards, and a variety of delivery site environments. The position requires frequent bending, lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading of heavy items—typically up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Extended periods of sitting while driving are expected, along with performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required, depending on delivery site requirements.
