Regional Account Manager – England and Wales 

Reporting to: Territory Manager UK & Ireland
 

Your mission would be to drive sustainable revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction within the assigned region by developing and nurturing strategic relationships with your accounts. Through proactive account management, innovative sales strategies, and continuous market analysis, we aim to exceed customer expectations, foster long-term partnerships, and achieve mutual success for both our customers and our company and to help position Epiroc as the market leading supplier of construction and mining equipment. In this role, you will closely collaborate with the other members of the UK & Ireland team and your key focus as Regional Account manager will be the sales and support of our customers in the England & Wales region. 
 

Lead by inspiration
As a member of our team, your responsibilities will be:
•    Account management - Building and maintaining relationships with customers/accounts within the assigned region. Understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
•    Sales Development - Identifying opportunities for growth within existing and potential accounts and developing strategies to capitalise on them. Capture and consolidate business opportunities so that all Epiroc products are given the best opportunity to succeed in the market.
•    Strategic Planning & Markey Analysis - Developing and executing strategic plans for account retention and expansion within the region. This will involve forecasting and developing action plans to achieve objectives. Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior within the region, helping to identify opportunities and potential challenges to the business.
Contribute and execute the Territory Management Plan strategy for UK & Ireland, working closely with the Territory Manager.
•    Communication & Collaboration - Serving as the primary point of contact between the company and the accounts in the region. This involves effective communication, negotiation, and collaboration with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure alignment and support for account objectives.
•    Problem Solving - Addressing any issues or challenges that arise with accounts in the region promptly and effectively. This may involve troubleshooting technical issues, resolving disputes, or finding creative solutions to meet customer needs. 
•    Maximising the use of Epiroc systems such as Salesforce and collaborating with the sales team to develop and implement new processes to streamline sales efficiency. Measuring sales performance, opportunities and lost orders through effective use of the CRM.
•    Equipping yourself with excellent product and application knowledge
•    Any other adhoc or necessary duties.
 

Essential requirements 
•    Experience within the construction and mining industry or related field
•    5+ years of proven sales and account manager experience
•    Customer orientated mentality
•    Self-motivated and well organised working profile
•    Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all types of stakeholders
•    Lives within territory and willing to travel within region as a field based role
 

Desirable requirements

•    Previous use of Salesforce 
•    Business management experience
•    Knowledge of Epiroc portfolio and customer base
•    Degree or similar qualification within mining and construction


Personal Characteristic:

You must be results oriented with the ability to handle tight deadlines and work under pressure, whilst keeping the focus on customer satisfaction at all times. You should be able to demonstrate a successful track record of profitable growth in previous roles. We require a proactive, structured person who listens and works with others to achieve the desired results by applying your knowledge of business, account management and sales to provide the most optimal solutions.
