Job Title - Sr. Engineer - Maintenance
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Assist production to achieve the budgeted volumes by regulating plant downtime through technology upgradations, provide technical inputs on equipment installation, commissioning and maintenance.
Driving implementation of new projects within agreed Resource Allocation Models cost / time / Environment Health and Safety considerations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execution of breakdown, Preventive, predictive maintenance& TPM activities of plant machinery like VMC, Turning, SPM, Muti axes machines and Robots.
- Modification in machine parts, PLC program and CNC system parameters to eliminate chronic problems.
- Planning for machine reconditioning activities based on the machine performance.
- Adopt and implement a detailed maintenance plan to minimize failures resulting in stoppage of work.
- Planning and maintaining all critical spare parts.
- Analyzing the major breakdowns by using maintenance techniques and tools.
- Analyzing the Repair and maintenance cost machine wise.
- Department Representative for all ISO standards.
- Generation of Monthly MIS of the department and circulation to top management.
- Monitoring the performance of Operators and organizing the necessary trainings to them to meet the individual & team targets.
- Interacting with Materials for purchase orders release and with Finance for bill payments.
- Interacting with production team to prepare schedules for preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and corrective maintenance of the machines.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Educational: Bachelor of engineering in Mechatronics/ Electronics / Mechanical Engineering
Experiential: 6 to 8 years’ Experience Preferably candidate who has already spent time in factory with responsibilities of maintenance, projects, SHE.
Skills & Behavioural Competencies:
- Analyzing a breakdown and plan for solving it.
- Ability to successfully collaborate across different teams and stakeholders.
- Training of subordinates in a planned manner.
Health and Safety awareness for a Manufacturing environment:
- Ensuring safety of the plant and compliance to SHE guidelines in regular plant maintenance as well in projects
- Ensure compliance with local legislation & Local engineering Procedures.
- Assessment of Hazards and identification of Critical Elements.
- Audit Process
- Participate in Planned workplace inspections, Risk Assessment, near miss reporting, accident investigations.
- Ensure closure of Planned Workplace Inspection action points by the factory team pertaining to engineering by mobilizing resources and tracking action.
