Mission : 

  • Achieving Company objectives by planning, organizing and overseeing the sourcing, purchasing and contract management activities for non-production/stock products and services.
  • To ensure commercial and business relationships and engagements with suppliers are handled according to documented policies, commercial, optimization objective, risk and procurement category related best practices.
  • Supporting daily procurement operations, executing sourcing activities, and maintaining supplier relationships to secure the best value, quality, and delivery performance for the organization.

Main Accountabilities :

  • Coordinate the supplier selection process end-to-end in collaboration with internal requestors, from supplier identification, communication, and quotation collection to technical and commercial evaluation. Assess quotations based on price, quality, lead time, payment terms, warranty, and other relevant factors to recommend the most suitable vendor.
  • Support contract management by reviewing and providing commercial input on terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with company standards, and coordinating with the Legal Department for contract finalization.
  • Conduct supplier screening, assessment, and onboarding in accordance with company policies, ensuring all vendors meet business ethics, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Create and manage purchase orders accurately and timely within the procurement system, ensuring that all documentation aligns with the approved requisition and budget.
  • Monitor and update purchase order (PO) status, proactively following up on order confirmations, delivery schedules, and potential delays to ensure business continuity.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Requestors, and Logistics) to align on order fulfillment, invoice verification, and payment processing.
  • Maintain supplier database and records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness within the procurement system.
  • Support cost efficiency initiatives by identifying saving opportunities, benchmarking prices, and consolidating supplier spending where possible.
  • Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, service level) and provide feedback or escalation when performance issues arise.
  • Ensure compliance with Epiroc's business ethics, procurement policies, and standard operating procedures, maintaining transparency and fairness in all sourcing activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements to improve procurement efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, as well as all applicable legal and organizational requirements.

Requirements : 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or sourcing.
  • Experience in handling supplier communications, quotation analysis, contract coordination, and purchase order management.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing principles, and commercial contract management.
  • Familiar with ERP systems (preferably M3 or similar platforms such as Lotus Note, SAP or Oracle).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to prepare analysis, reports, and presentations.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and cost benchmarking tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to evaluate supplier proposals objectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • High attention to detail and strong commitment to accuracy, compliance, and process discipline.
  • Proactive, structured, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrates integrity and commitment to Epiroc's Code of Conduct, ethical standards, and sustainability principles.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement attitude and customer service orientation.
