About the Business and Role:
ProReman, a key player within Epiroc's Parts & Services division, is looking for a Fitter & Machinist to join our team. As part of our service centre in Kalgoorlie, you’ll work under the direction of the Workshop Manager, contributing to all areas of our operations. Key Responsibilities:
•    Perform tasks across the service centre, such as disassembly, cleaning, quoting, machining, rebuilding, and testing Rockdrills.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve service issues, escalating technical concerns when needed.
•    Assist the Workshop Manager in executing the national service plan.
•    Manage inventory, including receiving, dispatching, and ordering parts.
•    Provide leadership and supervision within the workshop.
•    Mentor Apprentice Fitter Machinists and offer support to colleagues.
•    Focus on quality improvement, adhering to company processes.
•    Stay up to date with industry trends and updates through ongoing education.
Essential Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
•    Extensive experience in fitting and machining.
•    Industry knowledge and an understanding of our products' importance to customers.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
•    Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
•    A proactive, positive approach with excellent communication skills.
•    Conflict resolution skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
•    Welding experience is an advantage.
