As a Fitter & Machinist, you will report to the Workshop Manager and play a vital role in supporting all aspects of the service centre operations. Primary Responsibilities:
•    Performing daily tasks across all service areas, including stripping, cleaning, quoting, machining, rebuilding, and testing.
•    Troubleshooting service issues and escalating technical problems to the relevant service area for resolution.
•    Supporting the Workshop Manager in setting and fulfilling the national service plan.
•    Managing inventory control, including receiving, dispatching, parts picking, and ordering.
•    Providing workshop supervision and leadership.
•    Mentoring Apprentice Fitter Machinists and assisting team members as required.
•    Focusing on quality and continuous improvement, adhering to company procedures.
•    Updating job knowledge through educational opportunities.
Essential Position Requirements:
To qualify for this role, you must have:
•    Extensive fitting and machining experience.
•    Demonstrated industry experience and understanding of the importance of our products to customers.
•    Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
•    Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
•    Positive, proactive, and innovative thinking with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to resolve conflicts and work autonomously or as part of a team. 
•    Welding experience would be an advantage.
