Our team is seeking a motivated and hands-on Trade Assistant to join our Kalgoorlie workshop. This is a great opportunity to build your career within a high-performing team, with structured training and clear pathways for progression.

What you’ll be doing

• Support workshop operations with refurbishment of heavy equipment components

• Process goods inwards and outwards

• Lais with various vendors

• Spray paint and wrap components for preservation

• Operate forklifts and workshop equipment safely and efficiently

• Complete daily reports and documentation

• Support continuous improvement and high safety standards across the workshop

• Assist technicians and supervisors with day-to-day operational requirements

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in a workshop, trades assistant or similar hands-on role

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

• Current manual driver’s licence

• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)

• Comfortable with manual handling (up to 40kg)

• Basic computer skills (tablet, email, reporting)

• Ability to pass pre-employment checks (medical, D&A, police clearance)
