Your mission as a Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will drive the success of the Epiroc Surface Drill Rigs product line by leveraging deep technical expertise and a commitment to excellence.

What you’ll do

Provide specialized support for Epiroc machine systems, including automation technologies.
Perform scheduled services and breakdown repairs on Epiroc RCS and equipment.
Coach Epiroc and mine site employees on operating, troubleshooting, and repairing Epiroc autonomous and other equipment systems.
Perform fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
Promote and market Field Service work, as well as other Aftermarket services and products, to customers to support the growth of the Aftermarket Department.
Liaise with Epiroc Product Company Engineering representatives to enhance product development.
Assist with spare parts inquiries and participate in on-site stocking activities as needed.

What you’ll bring

In-depth technical knowledge of Epiroc Surface Rotary Blasthole Drills.
Minimum of 2 years of mining industry experience.
Grade 12 and a Trade Qualification (Millwright, Electrical, Mechanical)
Advanced troubleshooting skills for Remote Control Systems (RCS).
Experience with Trimble High Precision GPS systems.
Expertise in automation implementation is advantageous.
Strong proficiency in troubleshooting all drill systems.

Who you are

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and uphold Epiroc standards.
Valid driver's license.
