At Epiroc Finland, we are looking for a Sales Engineer to drive the growth of our product portfolio mainly in Northern Finland.
Your Mission
As a Sales Engineer at Epiroc, your mission is to drive profitable growth by developing strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and offering tailored solutions from our product portfolio.
You will work in the field, covering your territory through proactive visit planning, frequent travel, and close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. Actively visiting prospects and named existing customers
Performing operational and needs analyses to identify how Epiroc’s solutions can optimize customer productivity.
Preparing and managing tender documentation, quotations, and negotiations, ensuring all business processes are followed through our CRM system (Salesforce).
Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closing, financing, invoicing, and post-sales support.
Collaborating with internal teams across departments to align on customer needs and deliver successful outcomes.
Following up on sales goals, creating and executing an annual sales plan, and contributing to monthly reporting and meetings.
Monitoring competitor activity in your assigned region and adjusting strategy accordingly.
Organizing strategic customer meetings to assess needs across product lines.
Supporting order placement, invoicing, and logistics to ensure smooth transactions and excellent customer satisfaction.
Upholding company standards for environmental, health, and safety regulations, and contributing to a positive team climate.
Your Profile
You are an experienced sales professional who thrives in a customer‑facing environment and enjoys shaping long‑term partnerships.
Being on the road and spending time at customer sites feels natural to you, and you’re confident working independently while staying closely connected with your team.
You bring proven experience in technical sales or a similar customer‑facing role, ideally within mining, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial solutions.
You are comfortable working with complex products, discussing technical details, and turning customer needs into practical solutions.
You genuinely enjoy being present at customer sites, building trust through regular visits, hands‑on engagement, and long‑term partnership development.
Flexibility is key in this role, you’re prepared to travel frequently across Northern Finland, including occasional overnight stays, and you feel energized by work that takes place directly in the field.
Your communication style is mature, open, and relationship‑driven, enabling you to connect with a broad range of stakeholders and understand their operational challenges.
You work proactively, spotting opportunities early and shaping them into tailored proposals that bring real value to the customer.
You are confident managing the entire sales cycle.
Solid organizational skills help you plan your territory, structure your day, and manage travel logistics and customer priorities effectively.
Collaboration comes naturally to you. You appreciate open communication with colleagues across departments and enjoy contributing to a supportive and solution‑oriented team culture.
A valid driving licence and proficiency in Finnish and English are required for this role.
Location and travel
This position is based in Finnland - Kemi area. Travelling on a regular basis.
