Business Line Manager - Surface Division

Epiroc is looking for a high‑impact Business Line Manager – Surface to lead and grow its Surface Equipment business in the Democratic Republic of Congo, one of Africa’s most important mining markets. This role is central to driving capital equipment sales, strengthening market leadership, and positioning Epiroc as the preferred partner for surface mining solutions through strong customer engagement and competitive offerings.
You will lead commercial strategy, manage key customer relationships, and expand market and customer share while working closely with the Parts & Services organization to deliver full lifecycle value. This is a unique opportunity to shape Epiroc’s long‑term success in the DRC by aligning customer needs with strategic business growth.
Your Mission
- Lead surface equipment sales in the DRC, grow market and customer share, and maintain a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
- Develop trusted partnerships with key customers, understand their needs, and lead high‑level commercial negotiations.
- Execute aligned business plans, identify new opportunities, and ensure competitive, productivity‑driven solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Parts & Services to provide integrated equipment, service, and aftermarket offerings.
- Drive revenue and profitability through effective budgeting, pricing, margin control, and performance monitoring.
- Lead cross‑functional teams, promote performance and accountability, and uphold Epiroc’s safety and compliance standards.
Your Profile:
- 12–15 years’ experience in mining, construction, or heavy equipment, with a strong focus on capital equipment sales and business development.
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Mining / Electrical) is mandatory.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business / Marketing is an advantage.
- Proven knowledge of surface mining equipment applications and solutions.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, market share expansion, and managing complex sales cycles and key accounts.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyse markets and build competitive strategies.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills in multicultural, dynamic environments.
- Proficient in MS Office; CRM/ERP experience advantageous. Strong English required; French is an advantage.
