The Business Line Manager – Tools & Attachments is responsible for the overall business performance, market development, and technical sales execution of Epiroc’s Tools and Attachments portfolio across mining customers in the DRC. The role leads a technically complex product range including Rock Drilling Tools (RDT), Underground Ground Support, and Ground Engaging Tools (GET) for excavators and loaders, supporting both surface and underground mining applications.

 

You will drive application‑driven, customer‑specific solutions by combining deep understanding of ground conditions, equipment applications, and operational challenges to deliver measurable improvements in productivity, safety, and total cost efficiency. This is a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility, requiring a strong technical sales mindset, commercial acumen, and the leadership capability to translate mining challenges into sustainable business growth.

 

Your Mission

 

  • Own the full P&L for the Tools & Attachments business in DRC, driving sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
  • Lead application‑driven technical sales across surface and underground mining to improve productivity, safety, and total cost of ownership.
  • Optimize performance of RDT, Underground Ground Support, and GET portfolios through correct product selection, application, and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong customer partnerships with technical, operational, and procurement stakeholders, positioning Epiroc as a trusted performance partner.
  • Develop markets and strengthen competitive positioning by leveraging technical differentiation, application expertise, and key account strategies.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing technical sales team, while ensuring strong cross‑functional collaboration and talent succession.

 

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in mining, construction, or heavy equipment industry.
  • Strong background in technical sales, application engineering, or consumables business.
  • Experience across both surface and underground mining environments is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of driving growth in competitive markets.
  • Strong customer-facing and solution-based selling experience.
