Business Line Manager- Underground

Epiroc is seeking a Business Line Manager – Underground to drive capital equipment sales, expand market presence, and build strong customer partnerships across the Democratic Republic of Congo. The underground mining segment represents a significant growth opportunity, and this role is critical to establishing Epiroc as the market leader through focused commercial execution and differentiated solutions.
This senior leadership role is responsible for the commercial growth and market development of Epiroc’s underground capital equipment portfolio. You will lead strategic sales initiatives, manage key customer relationships, and position Epiroc as the preferred partner for underground mining solutions in a complex and competitive environment.
Your Mission
- Sales & Market Leadership: Drive underground capital equipment sales across the DRC, grow market share with key mining customers, and build a robust pipeline to support long‑term growth and market leadership.
- Customer & Key Account Management: Develop trusted, senior‑level relationships with customers, lead complex commercial negotiations, and deliver value‑driven solutions in challenging operating environments.
- Business Development & Strategy: Define and execute the underground business growth strategy by leveraging market insight, competitive intelligence, and customer needs to deliver productivity‑, safety‑, and efficiency‑driven solutions.
- Integrated Solutions & Aftermarket Collaboration: Partner closely with Parts & Services to deliver integrated lifecycle solutions, align equipment sales with aftermarket readiness, and develop long‑term service opportunities.
- Financial & Commercial Performance: Deliver revenue growth and profitability through effective budgeting, forecasting, pricing discipline, margin management, and strong commercial governance.
- Leadership, Safety & Stakeholder Management: Lead cross‑functional teams within a matrix structure, influence regional and global stakeholders, promote a performance‑driven culture, and ensure full adherence to Epiroc’s safety standards and “The Epiroc Way”.
Your Profile:
- Deep knowledge of underground mining methods, capital equipment, and complex sales cycles within the mining or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to negotiate, influence, and drive strategic, high‑value deals.
- Excellent customer engagement and relationship‑management capability, operating effectively in complex stakeholder environments.
- Results‑driven, resilient, and confident leader with a hands‑on approach and strong execution focus under pressure.
- High‑energy, competitive mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and integrity.
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mining, or Electrical) required; MBA or postgraduate business qualification advantageous; fluent in English with solid MS Office and CRM/ERP proficiency.
