Why Epiroc?

Kolwezi, located in the Lualaba Province of the Democratic Republic of Congo, is one of the fastest-growing mining hubs in Africa and a key center for copper and cobalt production. The region is undergoing rapid industrial development, driven by large-scale mining investments and continuous infrastructure expansion. One of the major upcoming developments is the new Kolwezi International Airport, which is nearing completion and expected to become fully operational in the coming months. This will significantly improve regional and international connectivity, making travel more convenient for expatriates and business professionals.

Kolwezi also benefits from a generally pleasant climate, characterized by warm temperatures, seasonal rainfall, and comfortable conditions for most of the year, making it a manageable and liveable environment for long-term assignments. For professionals seeking career growth in a high-impact mining environment, Kolwezi offers a rare opportunity to be part of a rapidly developing region with strong long-term potential.
