Your Strategic Mission:

Your core mission will be two-fold: to safeguard our established business in the DRC while aggressively developing and capitalizing on new growth opportunities. Based in Kolwezi, you will inspire and guide the local team to consistently enhance customer trust, expand our market presence, and build a sustainable and resilient business. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving our strategic pillars: accelerated sales growth, the integration of automation and interoperability, the advancement of digitalization, the pursuit of operational and service excellence, and the development of world-class people and leadership.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically drive organic growth by deeply understanding customer needs and applications, coupled with robust territory management.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Assume full P&L responsibility, managing the Balance Sheet and cash flow with strategic foresight.
  • Enhance profitability through astute price management, functional efficiencies, and operational excellence.

Your Expertise and Experience:

  • 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in senior management, demonstrating success in team leadership and achieving significant results.
  • Deep product and application knowledge within both surface and underground mining segments.
  • A results-oriented and networked professional with a proven track record in marketing and sales.
  • Valuable knowledge of the cultural dynamics within the Congo.
  • A University degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A strong understanding of Epiroc's business principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic and operational business management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, people management, and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent command of both English and French.
