Mission of the Role:

It all starts with people. People like you. Join us as an Expeditor. You will play a critical role in managing customs clearance operations for all imports related to the Frontier Project. You will also actively monitor international orders to accelerate their availability and minimize import delays and expedite ongoing international orders from production to final arrival.

 

Mission:

  • Prepare and verify all documents required for customs clearance of goods related to the Frontier Project.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and local authorities to ensure quick border clearance.
  • Track the progress of shipments up to their delivery at the site.
  • Ensure that all customs formalities comply with local regulations (DGRAD, DGDA, OCC, etc.).
  • Maintain an updated import tracking dashboard (ETA, customs status, delivery status).
  • Collaborate closely with logistics teams to anticipate needs and prioritize urgent shipments.
  • Conduct daily follow-up with international suppliers and freight forwarders.
  • Confirm shipping dates, availability, and departures of goods.
  • Track pre-alerts, Bills of Lading, Airway Bills, and all shipping documents.
  • Accelerate the transmission of required documents for import formalities (certificates, invoices, BIVAC, etc.).
  • Update internal tracking tools (shipment reports, order status dashboards).
  • Maintain clear communication between purchasing, logistics, and internal customers regarding ETAs.

 

Your Profile:

  • Knowledge of DRC customs and Bivac procedures and Central Bank regulation
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities.
  • Experience in expediting/international Trade and logistics.
  • Strong follow-up skills and proactive communication.
