What You Will Be Doing
- Lead people management initiatives, providing strategic guidance on HR operations.
- Oversee recruitment, retention, staff development, and performance management to build a strong, capable team.
- Support managers in hiring, onboarding, and retaining top talent, while optimising HR systems, processes, and reporting.
- Develop and refine competence development programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
- Identify and implement training activities aligned with business goals.
- Prepare HR reports, manage payroll inputs, and maintain the staff database efficiently.
- Ensuring strict compliance with employment regulations and provide legal advisory support on all HR matters.
- Cultivate a strong SHEQ culture, promoting a safe and healthy workplace environment.
- Implement HR policies in accordance with "The Epiroc Way", ensuring consistency and alignment with company values.
- Resolve issues related to labour laws, employment contracts, policies, and localisation, while advising the Country Manager on HR-related decision-making.
- Champion and drive global diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring equal opportunities for all employees.
What Makes You a Great Fit?
- Minimum 8 years of experience in an HRM role within a medium-sized organisation.
- Extensive knowledge of local DRC labour law – essential for navigating regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in a management role within HRM.
- Strong expertise in payroll input management and reporting.
- Exceptional leadership and competence development skills.
- A strategic mindset, capable of driving impactful HR decisions.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both French and business-level English.
