Key Account Manager

Epiroc is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead and manage the relationship with customer operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This role serves as the single point of contact and escalation for all Epiroc-related activities across business lines, including Underground Equipment, Surface Equipment, Parts & Services, and Tools & Attachments. The Key Account Manager owns the end-to-end customer relationship across Customer operations in DRC, acting as the voice of the customer within Epiroc and the face of Epiroc to the customer. This is a senior, cross-functional leadership role requiring strong executive presence, deep understanding of mining operations, and the ability to coordinate multiple internal divisions while maintaining close engagement across multiple sites.
Your Mission
- Act as the single point of contact for the account, managing senior stakeholder relationships, site engagement, and escalations across all Epiroc divisions.
- Maintain strong on‑site presence and full visibility of operational performance, contracts, opportunities, risks, and future customer plans.
- Coordinate and align all Epiroc business lines to deliver a unified, consistent, and value‑driven customer approach.
- Identify and drive cross‑selling, upselling, and integrated lifecycle solutions across equipment, consumables, and services.
- Lead key commercial engagements, including negotiations, pricing strategies, long‑term agreements, and delivery performance management.
- Monitor competitor activity, ensure strong market positioning, promote safety standards, and drive initiatives that enhance equipment performance and total lifecycle value.
Your Profile:
- 10–15+ years in mining, construction, or the heavy equipment industry, with a proven track record in senior commercial or key account management roles.
- Strong experience across both surface and underground mining operations, including management of large, multi‑site customer accounts.
- Demonstrated strength in negotiation, strategic thinking, and delivering commercial value in complex, high‑pressure environments.
- Proven ability to influence senior and executive stakeholders and work effectively across multiple divisions within a matrix organization.
- Solid understanding of mining equipment, operations, and aftermarket services; proficient in MS Office and CRM/ERP systems.
- Degree in Mining, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required; MBA or equivalent commercial qualification advantageous; fluent in English, with French highly desirable.
