Parts and Sales Manager - Chinese Customers

As the Parts and Sales Manager for Chinese Customers at Epiroc in Kolwezi, you will play a pivotal role in steering the aftermarket parts sales business specifically tailored to Chinese-owned and managed mining customers in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This position demands a strategic mindset and hands-on leadership to achieve sustainable revenue growth, expand market share, and foster robust relationships that enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction. You will ensure that Epiroc's offerings remain competitive and aligned with our stringent safety, compliance, and commercial standards.
Your Mission
- Develop and execute customer-specific sales strategies to grow the aftermarket parts business among Chinese mining customers in the DRC.
- Drive revenue, margin, and market share across parts, consumables, components, and remanufactured solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding customer operations and needs.
- Collaborate with planning and supply chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting and parts availability, minimizing downtime.
- Support tenders, RFQs, and pricing strategies while managing inventory solutions (e.g., VMI) to optimize availability and profitability.
- Monitor performance (sales, margins, OTIF, customer satisfaction), ensure timely invoicing/collections, and uphold compliance and governance standards.
Your Profile:
- A university degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent education and professional experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in aftermarket parts sales within the mining sector or heavy equipment industry, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with Chinese customers or organizations, with a clear understanding of cultural nuances and business practices.
- Previous work experience in Africa is mandatory; familiarity with operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo is a significant advantage.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is mandatory, enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders; proficiency in French is considered an asset.
