Your mission as a Reliability Engineer

Join Epiroc as a Reliability Engineer and take the lead in safeguarding both machine reliability and workforce safety. In this critical role, you’ll monitor risks, conduct root cause and failure analyses, and apply lifecycle management strategies to extend asset life. By focusing on risk assessment, loss elimination, and proactive reliability practices, you’ll ensure mining operations run efficiently, sustainably, and with the highest standards of safety and quality.

 

 

What you’ll do

  • Analyze maintenance and reliability data from CMMS/EAM systems, ensuring integrity and accuracy for effective decision-making.
  • Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies, including FMEA and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), to extend machine life and reduce failures.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring equipment issues, preparing detailed failure reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with service operations, logistics, and maintenance teams to improve reliability performance and eliminate failure modes.
  • Lead reviews of maintenance strategies, providing recommendations to enhance asset reliability and optimize component management processes.
  • Provide specialist support by interpreting failure history, liaising with operators and maintenance personnel, and delivering performance summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace management procedures while fostering effective communication, leadership, and team development across departments.

 

 

What you’ll bring

  • At least 3 - 5 years' experience in equipment maintenance as a Reliability Engineer.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Previous proven experience developing and implementing maintenance strategies
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using maintenance software
