The Site Manager - Kamoa at Epiroc holds a pivotal leadership role, overseeing all aspects of service activities at this critical mining location. This position encompasses end-to-end management responsibilities, including leadership, operational excellence, safety compliance, financial control, and customer relationship management, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery in line with Epiroc’s and client’s expectations.

 

As the Site Manager, you will spearhead efforts to maintain and enhance the reliability of mining equipment while optimizing workforce productivity. Your role will be instrumental in meeting and exceeding contractual, operational, SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality), and financial targets. Your Mission

  • Lead a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with SHEQ, legal, and environmental standards.
  • Manage daily service operations, including workforce planning, maintenance execution, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee contract performance, KPI delivery, and customer relationships as the primary client contact.
  • Drive financial performance through P&L management, labour recovery, invoicing, cost control, and business growth initiatives.
  • Lead and develop the local team, supporting localization, succession planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure operational continuity through effective parts and inventory management, reporting, SAP data integrity, and stakeholder communication.

 

Your Profile:

 

  • A degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, or Maintenance Engineering is essential to understand the technical scope of the role.
  • At least 10 years of experience in mining equipment maintenance, with a minimum of 5 years in supervisory or management positions demonstrating leadership capacity in challenging environments.
  • Proven experience in managing site-based maintenance contracts and leading mining service teams represents a significant advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Epiroc drilling and loading equipment is preferred to effectively oversee specialized operations and support teams.
