Join Epiroc as the Site Manager for our Kansoko operation, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our service activities within the mining sector. This leadership position requires a strategic and operational focus to drive safety, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance while managing an expert team in a dynamic environment.

 

As the Site Manager at Kansoko, you'll oversee all aspects of Epiroc's service operations on site. This includes leading day-to-day service activities, ensuring contractual and financial targets are met, and fostering a strong culture of health, safety, environment, and quality (SHEQ). You will be the primary liaison with customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery and acting as the escalation point for operational matters.

 

 

Your Mission

  • Champion site safety performance, ensuring compliance with SHEQ standards, legal requirements, and a zero-incident culture.
  • Manage daily service operations, including workforce allocation, maintenance planning, and equipment uptime optimization.
  • Ensure contract compliance, achieve KPIs, and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee site financial performance, including P&L management, cost control, invoicing, labour recovery, and business growth opportunities.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the site team through skills development, localization programs, and succession planning.
  • Drive operational excellence through effective inventory management, continuous improvement initiatives, performance reporting, and resolution of operational issues.

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, or Maintenance Engineering is required, underpinning a solid technical foundation.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mining equipment maintenance is essential, including at least 5 years in supervisory or managerial roles.
  • Proven experience managing site-based maintenance contracts and leading mining service teams to consistently deliver operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of Epiroc drilling and loading equipment is highly preferred to effectively guide technical and maintenance operations.
