Your Mission as a Workshop Component Rebuild Supervisor
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for technical excellence and operational efficiency? As our Workshop Component Rebuild Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading component repair and overhaul activities, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance while delivering exceptional results on time and to specification.
What you’ll do
- Supervise technicians performing component overhauls, and repairs.
- Lead by example through hands-on involvement in critical repair, assembly, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure all rebuild and repair work is completed to Epiroc OEM standards and procedures.
- Support strip, assess, repair, assembly, testing, and commissioning activities where required.
- Conduct quality checks during assembly and final inspections before release.
- Allocate labor, tools, and resources according to workshop priorities.
- Monitor daily progress of jobs and ensure planned completion dates are achieved.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and performance standards within the team.
- Ensure housekeeping and workshop organization are maintained.
- Enforce all HSE standards, risk assessments, and safe work procedures.
What you'll bring
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems.
- At least 8 to 13 years of experience in a similar environment with 2 – 5 of them in a supervisory position.
- Advanced Technical Certificate / H.E.R / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent through experience
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, precision measuring tools and technical documentation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
