Your mission as a Millwright Apprentice
Are you passionate about building a hands-on career in a world-class engineering environment? As a Millwright Apprentice at Epiroc, your mission is to grow into a skilled artisan through a structured programme that combines real on-site experience with formal technical training. You'll work alongside qualified artisans, develop your expertise across production departments, and lay the foundation for a long-term career in one of the mining industry's most respected global companies.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- To undertake all training, on site and off site as per the Apprentice Programme.
- To attend the required training hours on site and training Centre as required by the merSETA regulations.
- To understand and comply with Company Policies and Procedures, including Health and Safety regulations.
- To attend and fully participate in regular training and development reviews with the mentors/qualified artisans/Team Leaders and HR.
- Undertakes all work activities willingly, prepared to go the 'extra mile'.
- Takes responsibility for planning and organising the successful completion of the Apprentice Programme within the required time period.
- Work in different production departments and/or other as and when required.
What you bring
- Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Physical Sciences
- N2 Electrical/Mechanical qualification
