To support this transition, Epiroc Australia is seeking a dedicated Electrification Specialist—a critical technical role supporting the deployment, reliability, and performance of electrified mining equipment across the country.

This position plays a central role across all electrified platforms, with responsibilities spanning operational readiness, project execution, and technical support across internal and external stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

Serve as the subject matter expert for battery-electric, hybrid-electric, and electric surface drilling platforms
Support planning and execution of electrification projects, including new product introductions and diesel-to-electric conversions
Identify and address support requirements across tooling, diagnostics, air conditioning systems, safety, and training
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards (AS), IEC standards, and electrical safety requirements for both mobile and fixed plant
Support safe implementation and risk mitigation for dangerous goods (DG) handling and storage
Coordinate with Capital Equipment, Product Companies, Service, and Marketing teams to ensure end-to-end support for electrified products
Act as a key technical contact for customer inquiries related to performance, safety, and field reliability

About You

High voltage electrical qualification – essential
Experience working on high voltage mobile equipment in mining or heavy industry
Refrigeration experience (automotive or similar)
Strong knowledge of AS and IEC standards for mobile and fixed plant equipment
Understanding of DG handling and storage requirements
Project management skills, with experience managing technical coordination across multiple stakeholders
Hands-on problem-solving approach with strong diagnostic abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work across technical and non-technical teams
Well-organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites and regional operations as required
