Are you a skilled Service Technician (HD Fitter, Mechanical fitter, fitter machinist) who enjoys working on Epiroc mining equipment? If the answer is ‘Yes’, we want to hear from you!
Epiroc Australia is looking for experienced, enthusiastic and organised Service Technicians based in our Adelaide Workshop, while also providing adhoc and planned site support where required.
As a Service Technician, you will play an essential role in supporting our service operations.
Responsibilities of this role consists of but are not limited to the below:
- Understand and follow Epiroc OH&S policies and procedures
- Perform major component overhauls
- Perform maintenance and repairs to equipment
- Diagnose and fault find mechanical and electrical problems
- Provide support to customers as needed
- Work collaboratively with all team members and stakeholders
The successful applicant must have:
- An unrelenting safety focus
- Extensive maintenance / fitting knowledge and experience
- Fitting / Mechanical trade qualification as specified
- An absolute focus on providing quality products and support to Epiroc stakeholders
- Ability to work on major component overhauls in a clean workshop environment utilising precision measurement and fine tolerances
- A strong customer perspective
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving ability, diagnostic and trouble shooting skills
- Ability to handle and work under pressure
- Flexibility to travel and support customers on sites when required
