Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to grow your career with a global industry leader? Epiroc is seeking an Accountant Assistant to join our Customer Center team in Lubumbashi. In this role, you will support key financial operations by ensuring accurate accounting records, timely payment processing, account reconciliations, and compliance with financial procedures. Working closely with the Business Controller and Company Accountant, you will contribute to the efficiency and success of our daily business operations while gaining valuable exposure to a dynamic international environment.

 

Your Mission

  • Reconcile staff and vendor accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Process payment requisitions and ensure correct recording of import duty transactions.
  • Capture and process bank statement transactions, including deposits and debits.
  • Perform monthly bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Manage customs duty payments and reconciliations to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Support travel fund administration and assist with additional finance-related duties as required.

 

Your Profile

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
