OPEX Engineer

It is the opportunity to:

Identify improvement opportunities in production, administrative, and support processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Conduct process assessments through direct observation, data analysis, and shop floor walkthroughs.
Analyze cycle times, capacity, efficiency, productivity, resource utilization, and process constraints.
Develop Value Stream Maps (VSM) to identify waste, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate and facilitate Kaizen events with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and improve standard work procedures in collaboration with Production and Engineering teams.
Support setup time reduction initiatives by applying Lean methodologies such as SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die).
Perform root cause analysis using continuous improvement tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram (Ishikawa), Pareto Analysis, and A3 methodology.
Follow up on improvement action plans to ensure timely implementation and achievement of expected results.
Promote a Lean Manufacturing culture through training, coaching, and active participation with operational teams.
