What will my responsibilities be?
• Prepare welding equipment (machines, electrodes, gases, protective materials).
• Read and interpret blueprints or technical specifications to perform metal joints.
• Perform welding processes such as MIG, TIG, SMAW (manual arc welding), among others.
• Prepare surfaces before welding (cleaning, beveling, alignment).
• Join metal parts using heat or pressure, applying the appropriate method.
• Control weld quality (visual inspection or through non-destructive testing).
• Perform basic maintenance of welding equipment.
• Comply with industrial safety and occupational health regulations.
• Record operations or report activities in logs or internal systems.
• Collaborate in the assembly of structures or metal assemblies.
