Your Mission: Ensure compliance with tax regulations for companies, optimize tax burdens, and seize opportunities for savings and tax recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Manages the income tax compliance process for Epiroc entities in Mexico on a timely basis.
• Annual Calculation of Income Tax (ISR) and Deferred Taxes, as well as monthly calculations for ISR, Value Added Tax (IVA), and deferred taxes.
• Corporate Reporting and Response to SAT (Mexican Tax Administration Service) Requirements.
• Monthly Analysis of the tax situation of the Company.
• Review analysis of CFDIs (Digital Tax Invoices) to secure compliance.
• Manages the monthly tax provision.
• Reviews deferred taxes for Epiroc companies.
• Tracks deferred tax assets & liabilities.
• Prepares effective tax rate reconciliations.
• Coordinate and provide the request for tax audits.
• Coordinate the transfer pricing documentation and help to answer questions.
• Assists with merger and acquisition activities, including tax due diligence.
• Assists with tax programs, processes, and issues with finance and accounting and the operating units.
• Performs tax research as applicable.

Oversees the following activities:

• Maintenance of compliance tax calendar
• Reconciliation of all operating company tax accounts
• Allocation of monthly chargeback to operating companies
• Responses to various tax notices promptly
   

Your profile:
 

• Professional Accountant with at least 5+ years of Mexican tax experience.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Prior experience preparing complex tax provisions of multi-nationals.
• Strong team player who will partner in the process and be proactive.
• Demonstrated technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive projects to completion.
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills to elaborate on complex tax issues, analysis, and conclusions internally to technical and managerial audiences, as well as externally to the tax auditors and other parties.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• A team player with a winning positive attitude and always looking for ways to improve.
• Must have a demonstrated hands-on approach and willingness to perform various duties.
