Are you ready?

It all starts with people. People like you.

At Epiroc, we partner with the mining and construction industries to make operations safer, more sustainable, and more productive—and our people make that possible.

We are looking for an HR Manager to lead the People & Leadership agenda with full ownership of compliance, culture, and business partnership—playing a critical role in shaping a high-performing, ethical, and people-centered organization.

Join our team

You will be a key member of the local management team, working closely with leaders and partnering with the broader OneHR organization to deliver an excellent employee and manager experience.

Your mission and role

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and execute the HR strategy in Mexico aligned with Epiroc’s People & Leadership direction and business goals.
  • Build a high-performing, inclusive, and legally compliant workplace, acting as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees.
  • Strengthen employee experience and culture by promoting a psychologically safe, respectful environment and reinforcing company values.

Key Responsibilities

You will play a critical role in building a compliant, high-performing and people-centered organization by focusing on:

Compliance, Ethics & Labor Relations

  • Ensure full compliance with Mexican labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Lead labor relations, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation; maintain audit-ready HR documentation.

HR Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Develop and execute the local People & Leadership strategy; translate global direction into local impact.

Culture, Leadership & Talent

  • Support leaders in building engaged, high-performing teams; lead talent processes across the employee lifecycle (in partnership with our Regional Center of Excellence where applicable).

Operational Excellence

  • Improve HR processes using data, digital tools, and automation; implement KPIs and proactive follow-up.

You and your skills

We are looking for a senior HR leader with a strong combination of business acumen, compliance expertise, and leadership capability:

  • 10+ years of broad HR experience, including senior HR leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong expertise in Mexican labor law, employee relations, and compliant HR practices.
  • Proven ability to partner with leadership teams and deliver measurable business outcomes through HR strategy.
  • Strong data-driven mindset (KPIs, trends, workforce planning) and comfort with HRIS / digital tools.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism.

What we value most

Beyond experience, success in this role depends on how you lead and interact with others. We are looking for a leader who consistently demonstrates:

  • Integrity & ethical judgment (fairness, objectivity, zero tolerance for non-compliant practices).
  • Respectful & inclusive leadership that fosters psychological safety.
  • Accountability & ownership with reliable follow-through.
  • Emotional intelligence & interpersonal maturity under pressure.
  • Collaboration & influence across all organizational levels.

Location and travel

This position is based in the Polanco area in Mexico City. We have a hybrid model that requires every employee to be at the office at least 3 days per week.

This role requires approximately 40% travel, primarily to Zacatecas.
